Boxing Meets Versus Tonight During Dipset vs. The LOX Showdown

The convergence of entertainment and sports is heating up again as Triller Fight Club presents the first event of the TrillerVerz series tonight.

The series will be on the first Tuesday of every month broadcasted straight from Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden live on FITE and Triller.

The events will be unique and unprecedented series of spectacular combat sports and music.

The debut boxing event is headlined by a ten-round WBA Heavyweight World Title Eliminator between Michael ‘The Bounty’ Hunter II and Michael’ White Delight’ Wilson.

The live Verzuz Rap Battle will be between Dipset and The Lox. Dipset, formed by Harlem childhood friends Cam’ron and Jim Jones first, and later in 1999, they added Juelz Santana the mixtape scene of the early 2000s.

The Lox, from Yonkers, NY, first burst onto the hip-hop scene with Bad Boy Records then defected to the Ruff Ryders, which was closer to their gritty sound. Their stylistic and unique sound is helmed by original members Sheek Louch, Styles P, and Jadakiss.

Verzuz is not a real battle but a celebration of classic records and nostalgic periods. The boxing match alignment seems like a stretch.

With actual battle rap platforms like URL and Queen of the Ring placing battle rap artists of the highest caliber against one another, the fit would be easier with a boxing match. However, the more prominent names that have graced Verzuz is the bankable appeal.

Still, the melding of entertainment platforms will continue, and Triller Fight Club will continue to push the envelope.
