Adrian Peterson Reinstated. Now what?

Today is was announced that Minnesota Vikings star running back, Adrian Peterson, was reinstated after a Minnesota judge ruled in favor of Peterson and the NFLPA.

Peterson had been suspended by the NFL since November 18th, 2014 after allegations of child abuse came to fruition. He appeal was denied by the NFL on December 12th, and instead of letting the suspension run through April 15th, Peterson took the case to federal court where the verdict was rendered a few hours ago.

NFLPA Executive Director DeMaurice Smith issued the following statement:

“This is a victory for the rule of law, due process and fairness. Our collective bargaining agreement has rules for implementation of the personal conduct policy and when those rules are violated, our union always stands up to protect our players’ rights. This is yet another example why neutral arbitration is good for our players, good for the owners and good for our game.’

Although he’s back in the NFL, many questions still remain, including where will he suit up next year. It seems he’s headed out the door at the Vikings camp, but could he end up with Dallas, San Diego or the Jets.
