It has been reported that Raven’s pro bowl defensive end Haloti Ngata will be suspended for four games for testing positive for PEDs. The drug in question Adderall is a medication prescribed to people who have attention deficit disorder or attention hyperactivity deficit disorder. Ngata stated "I made a mistake, and I own this", “My hope is that the Ravens make the playoffs, and I believe they can do this. And, then I can come back and help us win."
Ngata will miss games against the Miami Dolphins, Jacksonville Jaguars, Cleveland Browns and the Houston Texans. Ngata is one of the best defensive players the Ravens have in their 3-4 defense, he can stop the run and rush the passer. This loss for the Ravens puts a lot more pressure on a decimated secondary to step up and use more caution in their protection. Without Ngata the Ravens are weaker in a tight race for the AFC North title.
