Some good news for the NFL after a rough couple of weeks featuring surprises, criticism and suspensions.
After the Seahawks defeated the Broncos in overtime on a Marshawn Lynch TD run, Seahawks defensive back DeShawn Shead had one last coverage assignment. Accompanied by a few of his teammates, Shead, now fully dressed, met his girlfriend, Jessica Martinez, on the field with a bouquet of roses. Seeing herself on the big screen in the stadium, Martinez was then asked by DeShawn if she would marry him and she said yes. Then they had their own "post-game press conference" with local stations, as you can see here.
A nice way to end a rough week in the NFL.
