Damian Lillard took the league by surprise coming out of Weber State to string together dominant performances and high-flying dunks. It wasn't a surprise to him, though. Lillard said winning Rookie of the Year was his goal during a pre-draft press conference, and has now done just that, winning the award unanimously. He's only just getting started. Though pleased to win the award, he looks at it as affirmation that his hard work is paying off. You can expect more of the same.
