Zazie Beetz, Terry Crews Show Off In Deadpool 2’s Final Trailer

The final Deadpool 2 trailer has fans excited for the sequel thanks to new character reveals and a random guy named Peter.

In the usual Deadpool manner, the two-minute action-packed, yet humorous, footage highlights the additional members of X-Force, a superhero team put together by Deadpool to fight Cable.

After surviving a near fatal bovine attack, a disfigured cafeteria chef (Wade Wilson) struggles to fulfill his dream of becoming Mayberry’s hottest bartender while also learning to cope with his lost sense of taste.

Prior to the release, it was confirmed that Josh Brolin would play the time-traveling mutant Cable and Zazie Beetz as the probability-altering mercenary called Domino.

This time around, its been confirmed that Terry Crews will be playing the mutant Bedlam and Iron Fist standout Lewis Tan will star as LGBTQ superhero Shatterstar.

This comes as a great surprise after the Asian-American actor missed out on a potentially culture-defying role as Danny Rand, who is originally a white character.

Who is Marvel’s Shatterstar? Extra-dimensional, Future Gladiator of X-Force.

This video explores the history, powers, and abilities of the Marvel Comics character “Shatterstar.” From being genetically engineered to be an arena warrior on a future “Mojoworld,” joining the Cadre Alliance to overthrow Mojo, going back in time and being recruited by Cable to join X-Force, to having his consciousness transferred into the body of the comatose mutant Benjamin Russell; Let’s take a look at this iconic sword-wielding Marvel Universe superhero, and dimension-hopping member of X-Force.

Now, Im curious to see if Deadpool will explicitly address Shatterstars sexuality as a side narrative or if theyll use subtle references similar to how Tessa Thompsons character Valkyries sexuality was portrayed in Thor: Ragnorak.

Either way, the trailer and the cast members set a high bar for Deadpool 2s release in May, and one I think itll be able to hurdle.

Take a look at the trailer to catch more scenes from the movie set to drop May 18th.
