WATCH: Black America Reacts To Joe Biden & Kamala Harris’ Presidential Win

A historic number of Americans participated in the voting process, ushered Donald Trump out of the White House and lifted Joe Biden and Kamala Harris to victory.  Biden will end the insults and divisiveness and Harris becomes the Jackie Robinson of Black women and Asian women as Vice Presidents.

Black women, young African-Americans, and men turned out in record numbers to express their unhappiness with the way Trump has divided the country during the past four years.

According to exit poll data, Black voters overwhelmingly backed the Democratic candidate by a margin of 87% to Donald Trump’s 12%

According to The Guardian, “Early voting data already showed young people turning out in record numbers, and with four in 10 eligible Black voters being millennials or from generation Z, the push in urban centers like Philadelphia, Atlanta and Detroit was critical for Biden.

According to polling data analysis by the AP and Tufts University, Black voters under 30, 88% voted for Biden and only 9% voted for Trump.”

The election was finally called on Saturday, Nov. 7 (three days after Election Day) once officials sorted through mail-in ballots in Pennsylvania. It was determined that Biden had 270 Electoral College votes and with that, the 77-year old will begin the job of trying to pull the country together.

With some votes still unaccounted for, Republicans aren’t totally willing to accept defeat, but everyone else seems to be dancing in the streets.
