Today we learned that the Bengals often penalized player, Vontaze Burfict, would have his suspension reduced from five games to three, as reported by ESPN’s Josina Anderson (and confirmed by the NFL).

After his vicious hit on Anthony Sherman in a preseason game a few weeks ago, it looked like Burfict would be out for a few weeks, hurting the Bengals’ early season hopes of a post-season birth. But now that he gets two games back, the Bengals must be feeling a little better. He returns to action in week 4 against the Browns.
