Adrian Peterson did a lot of talking this offseason. For a guy that came just one carry short of an NFL single season-rushing record he seemed disappointed in himself. On his first carry of the 2013 season, Peterson put the entire Lions defense in his rear view mirror en route to a 77-yard touchdown. If Christian Ponder is going to keep throwing picks, the Vikings might as well replace him with Peterson in the Wildcat. That probably wasn't even Adrian Peterson. That was most likely last season's Adrian Peterson arriving in 2013 reaching Doc's reccomended 88 miles per hour, breaking the space-time continuum and arriving on Ford Field today.
