According to an exclusive report by The Daily Telegraph, the Ultimate Fighting Championship is preparing to make a promotional offer to sign British heavyweight boxing champion and sensation, Anthony Joshua to a multi-fight deal which could earn him $500 million (353 million) and make him the richest British boxer of all time.

Joshua has become one of boxings biggest star literally supplanting the dominance of the American audience with a passionate and engaged European audience that has helped him sell out major arenas in his home country. With everyone in boxing eyeing a future Anthony Joshua vs. Deontay Wilder heavyweight title unification bout after his fight against Joseph Parker next weekend, UFC President Dana White is looking at continuing the hybrid matchups which netted him the second highest pay-per-view sales of all time when he allowed Conor McGregor to box Floyd Mayweather.

White will be present for Joshua’s bout against Parker in Cardiff on March 31st expanding on his interest in the fighter that he has previously declared changed the face of boxing and multiple sources have confirmed the UFC’s hope to lure him away from Eddie Hearn and Matchroom Boxing, Joshuas promoters since 2013.

Joshua’s global appeal was cemented when he retired Wladimir Klitschko last year via an 11th round TKO to add the World Boxing Association belt to his IBF title in a thrilling fight in front of 90,000 at Wembley Stadium 11 almost a year ago. With the UFC being a global powerhouse that now has to recoup the $4 billion it was sold to WME-IMG for last year, Joshua like Mayweather is a bankable star that will generate instantaneous global profits for the combat sports leader.

Joshua can potentially earn $50 million a fight with a potential $500 million via a multi-fight venture.

The 28-year-old has a year left on his deal with Eddie Hearn and Matchroom Boxing and is on a mission to unify all the major heavyweight titles, starting with next weeks bout against World Boxing Organization champion Parker. He is then likely to take on current WBC champion Deontay Wilder, which many believe will happen in Las Vegas as a huge pay-per-view.

Hearn told The Telegraph that he was confident of re-signing the English fighter despite Joshua being a long-term fan of the UFC that admitted in an interview with Business Insider last week that he could even leave boxing to take on stars such as heavyweight Francis Ngannou, of Cameroon, and former light-heavyweight Jon Jones, both of which he said would be good scraps.

The UFC’s heavyweight division en masse has also envisioned the same possibilities with stars such as current UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic, and more all vying for a shot at Joshua. Recently, boxer Mikey Garcia revealed exclusively to The Shadow League that he was also in talks with UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway for a match and Dana White visited Garcia this month to discuss.

A fight is a fight at the end of the day, he told Sky Sports when asked if he would compete in mixed martial arts. So, yeah, man, Id do it.

Rumors first began rumbling around the UFC’s interest in boxing during the press run for Mayweather vs. McGregor and recently ZUFFA Boxing has applied for a boxing license in Nevada. Zuffa was the former parent company of the UFC founded by Frank and Lorenzo Fertitta with Dana White at the helm as President. Joshuas last three  title fights have drawn total crowds of 250,000 and with a potential $50 million a fight with the UFC, at the end of the day, it is safe to say Joshua’s fights are worth more than your average and it seems the second coming of the Mayweather styled “Money Fight”events far from over, just relocated to the other side of the pond with Joshua.
