Up untilo recently, American foodies entrusted Paula Deen’s tongue to give them savory recipes. However, Deen’s admission to nonchalantly rolling the N-word off her tongue like it was melted butter and blatantly displaying racially insensitive attitudes towards African-Americans has turned the former cooking show host into a social pariah–and social media punchline.
On Saturday, the Food Network responded to the online outrage by cancelling her show, but Twitter was available to offer suggestions for appropriate parody series' that Deen could watch in her newfound spare time. On a side note, if Food Network needs to fill Deen’s time slot, they should hit up Bun B’s agent.
