Trump Attacks Kaepernick Again With More False Protest Narratives

If you’ve watched the news recently, you’ve seen the tragedies affecting our country.

Wildfires are ravaging Northern California. Puerto Rico is still devastated and victims in Las Vegas are still hurting. So instead of instilling some faith and concern into the country, Trump basically threatens Puerto Rico and attacks Kap once again.

Yes, Colin Kaepernick. The blackballed QB who hasn’t played a down of football this season for an NFL team was the target of his false narratives about the protests last night on Sean Hannity.

Trump never fails to change the story to fit his ignorant venom and this interview is another example of this fact.

“I watched Colin Kaepernick, and I thought it was terrible, and then it got bigger and bigger and started mushrooming, and frankly the NFL should have suspended him for one game, and he would have never done it again,” said Trump to Hannity, creating another attack on Kap that was renewed in Alabama a few weeks ago.

Should this be surprising? Not in the least bit for Trump is a master at deflecting criticism by creating new drama to focus on. Puerto Rico is in dire need of help and people are calling him out for it, so he whines about possibly pulling help from the island and then going back at the NFL.

The NFL and NFLPA issued a joint statement yesterday in response to Trump’s tweet about the NFL taking action against protesting players.

So after a week filled with staged walkouts by the Vice President, attacks by Trump and the continued false narrative about the anthem protests, the drama continues in the NFL.
