Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson, who has gotten of to a tremendous rookie season after leading Clemson to last year’s national championship, reportedly suffered a torn ACL in practice today. Sadly, his remarkable and memorable rookie season appears to be over.

Deshaun Watson went down on a normal drill, running a read option, on a grass field, per source. Didn’t yell, trainers took him off field.
Watson is expected to undergo an MRI to confirm the injury.
This weekend, he passed for 402 yards and four touchdowns in the Texans’ 41-38 loss to the Seattle Seahawks in one of the most exciting games of the season.

Watson became the first rookie quarterback to ever win AFC Offensive Player of the Month honors on Thursday. He also was named the NFL’s Offensive Rookie of the Month for October. Over a span of six games, he’s thrown for 1,699 yards and is tied for the NFL lead with 19 passing touchdowns.
