MLB ‘s World Series Rat Race Is Up For Grabs

The MLB playoffs in is full swing and as you should know when October rolls around so does the intensified playoff drama. The Yankees are already down 2-0 to Cleveland who came from behind to win a game that FS1 and TSLs Rob Parker told me, 99 out of 100 that game is a wrap. The Yankees were up 8-3 and seemed to be headed to New York with an even series. A Francisco Lindor homer here and some questionable managerial maneuvers there and Cleveland escapes with a 9-8, 13-inning heartbreaking victory and the Yankees are in a state of desperation as one more loss sends them home for the holidays.

The Astros are dismantling the Red Sox. Houston’s youth movement has blossomed into grown man magic and the first World Series c’hip in franchise history is becoming more of a reality each game. The Astros are outscoring the AL East champs 16-4 in Games 1 and 2 of the ALDS.

It’s playoff season for #MLB. @astros up 2-0 in series over @RedSox in AL. Who are you rooting for this year?

The Cubs get set to try and take a 2-0 NLDS series lead on the Nationals. I still think this series will go five games, but the defending World Champs have to be given the edge when it comes to the playoffs.

No reason to really mention the Dodgers because if they dont beat Arizona, then the franchise is cursed. If Clayton Kershaw doesn’t pitch at least two gems then his playoff legacy will be forever suspect. LA has to make good on Magic Johnson’s pockets and promise to bring another championship to LA.

This was supposed to be the year for LA who came out of the gate in historic fashion and cooled off considerably down the stretch. The World Series title is still up for grabs and as of right now, there’s no clear cut favorite.
