Meek Mill Is A Free Man

Meek Mill is a free man.

After a long legal battle, it has been reported that the Philly rapper, who was serving a bogus probation charge, is preparing for his release from prison Tuesday afternoon.

According to TMZ, the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania made the decision to free Meek, overruling Judge Genece Brinkley, who has arguably held bias again Meek and his team from the beginning.

Kevin Hart, who was visiting Meek earlier today, confirmed the news on Instagram.

Meek Mill is Frrrrreeeeeeeee ….I just left from seeing him in jail with @michaelgrubin and we were just told that he is being released. Woooooooow……Stand Up Philadelphia!!!!!

Moments later Meek himself tweeted from his account, for the first time in a long time, bringing this chapter in his life to a close.

Meek Mill responds on Twitter. “I understand that many people of color across the country don’t have that luxury and I plan to use my platform to shine a light on those issues.

About damn time. We’re glad to have you back Meek. The Philadelphia Sixers play the Miami Heat tonight to gain position in the NBA Playoffs. And with co-owner of the Sixers, Michael Rubin, picking Meek up personally from prison, the MMG emcee may show up on the sidelines tonight.
