We all saw what went down in Charlottesville this weekend, the most horrific being the cowardly, terrorist murder of Heather Heyer on Saturday afternoon.

He then discussed his thoughts on everything transpiring right now, stating “I’m challenging people to be uncomfortable” so they can get out and see what’s actually going on in today’s Trump led society so they can do something about it:

Marshawn Lynch, who returned to the sidelines this season after retiring last year, also took a stand by sitting before the Raiders’ game against the Cardinals Friday night.

For those who blast Colin Kaepernick for taking a knee, especially those who state the always lame “stick to sports”, it’s time to wake up and realize that sports, politics and social issues have all intersected and their clash is unavoidable. Then again, we already knew that. You just need to open your eyes.
