Larry Nassar Pleads Guilty To Sexually Assaulting Gymnasts

Larry Nassar, the disgraced Michigan sports doctor who admitted to sexually assaulting female gymnasts and possessing child pornography, plead guilty in a third criminal case today. He acknowledged that he molested girls who sought treatment for injuries.

Olympians Aly Raisman, McKayla Maroney and Gabby Douglas are among the more than 100 women who say that they were victims.

Nassar worked at Michigan State University and at USA Gymnastics. He said he molested girls at the Twistars gymnastics club in Eaton County, near Lansing. A week ago, he entered a similar guilty plea in nearby Ingham County, the home of his university campus clinic and dropped claims that he was performing legitimate treatment with his ungloved hands.

He will be sentenced in federal court on December 7th in a third case for possessing child pornography. He faces decades in prison and more than 100 women and girls are currently suing him.
