Johnny Football Declares for the NFL Draft

As has been speculated from the start of the college football season, Heisman Trophy winning Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel aka Johnny Football has filed his paperwork with the NFL, officially declaring he'll enter the NFL draft. Manziel set an SEC single-season record for total offense in 2012 with 5,116 yards, including 1,410 rushing yards. Those totals led him to become the first redshirt freshman to ever win the Heisman Trophy.  His rock star persona was of some concern in the off season as allegations of signing memorabilia for cash came to light, but were eventually investigated and refuted by the NCAA.  While Johnny Football’s rushing yards were nearly cut in half in 2013, his numbers for passing yards and passing touchdowns increased to 4.114 yards and 37 touchdowns respectively.
