Jay-Z’s Mom, Gloria Carter Honored At 29th Annual GLAAD Awards

Jay-Z‘s mom, Gloria Carter, was recognized at the 29th annual GLAAD Awards on Saturday. Carter was given a Special Recognition Award on behalf of Jay-Z’s song ‘Smile‘ which discusses his mom’s tough journey through life and coming out as a gay woman after many years in the closet.
