Highly productive, but injury prone running back Jamaal Charles will be suiting up in a blue and orange uniform next season as a member of the Denver Broncos.
Excited to have Jamaal Charles join the Broncos. A great addition to our backfield, and we’re thrilled we won’t have to play against him!

After nine seasons with the Chiefs, the only team he played with in his pro career, Charles is headed to the rocky mountain state to suit up for new head coach Vance Joseph. Charles is the Chiefs’ all time leading rusher, amassing 7,260 rushing yards and adding in 2,457 receiving yards. Injuries plagued him over the last two seasons, limiting him to just eight games in that span.
But if the Broncos, who signed him to a one year deal for $3.75 million, get the Pro Bowl player from 2013 who scored 19 touchdowns, they might have gotten the steal of this year’s free agency period.
