HBO Is Bringing A Serena Williams Docu-Series To The Screen

HBO Sports is producing a five-part documentary series chronicling Serena Williams as embraces a pivotal moment in her personal and professional life. 

“Being Serena” debuts on Wednesday, May 2nd, with subsequent episodes airing on the following Wednesdays.

Williams’ remarkable career achievements include 23 Grand Slam singles and 16 Grand Slam doubles titles. She’s won an incredible 783 pro singles matches, 72 WTA singles titles and 23 WTA doubles titles, along with Olympics Gold Medals in Doubles in the 2000 Sydney, 2008 Beijing and 2012 London Games. She also took home the Gold Medal in Singles at the 2012 games in London.

HBO’s documentary series will shed some light on her pregnancy, new motherhood and marriage, and life as a a businesswoman and investor in the worlds of tech, fashion, fitness and philanthropy while chronicling her journey back to competitive tennis  

Williams will compete in her first Grand Slam event of the year at the French Open in late May.
