Derrick Rose, the 2010-11 NBA Most Valuable Player, has signed with the Minnesota Timberwolves for the remainder of the season. Hell reunite with former Bulls teammates Jimmy Butler and Taj Gibson.
Though Rose looked good during the first 10 games of the season with Cleveland, he played sparingly afterwards due to nagging injuries and personal issues.

The Timberwolves (38-28) host the Boston Celtics tonight.
Rose has played just 16 games this season and was traded from the Cleveland Cavaliers to the Utah Jazz on deadline day. He was then waived and has been a free agent ever since.
Many were unsure if Rose was done as an NBA player, and teams seemed to only be offering 10-day contracts. Some were speculating that would retire.
But his former coach with the Chicago Bulls, Tom Thibodeau, obviously believes that he has more left in the tank.
With Jeff Teague starting at point guard and Tyus Jones getting the backup minutes, it will be interesting to see how Rose is utilized.
