Houston Astros shortstop Carlos Correa was named the American League Jackie Robinson Rookie of the Year.
Correa edged Indians shortstop Francisco Lindor to become the 14th player at his position to win the award. He is also the first Astro to win the award since Jeff Bagwell won in ’91
