A bum ankle kept him out for a game but the Warriors saw it as a minor set back. But then came game 4 against Houston and Curry went down with another injury and Golden State fans held their breath despite a thrashing of the Rockets.
Today we understand why they held their breath, as Curry was diagnosed with a Grade 1 MCL sprain, which will keep him out for at least two weeks.

While better than a possible tear, Curry’s absence will truly test the NBA Champs and now it’s up to the collective team from the Bay to make up the slack.
We’ll see if he can return during the next series against either the Clippers or the Blazers (assuming they finish off the Rockets, which almost everyone outside of the Houston area expect).
