Two time NBA Champion. One of the greatest shooters in NBA history and the inspiration for millions of kids to develop a jump shot. Steph Curry has brought this, and more, to the NBA over his eight year career and he finally got paid.
According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski and confirmed by Bay Area News Group columnist Marcus Thompson, Curry and the Warriors have agreed to a five-year, $201 million deal. This replaces, and rightfully so, the four-year, $44 million deal he got four years ago, making him the biggest bargain in the NBA. But no longer.
With career averages of 22.8 point per game and 6.8 assists per game, two league MVP awards and two NBA titles, Steph was more than worthy of this deal.
Maybe now we’ll see him dancing in Baltimore like Klay was cutting it up in China. If not, he’ll be enjoying it in other ways.
