Serena Williams Smashes Into The U.S. Open Final

Serena Williams will be gunning for a record-tying 24th Grand Slam title on Saturday.

She crushed Anastasija Sevastova, 6-3, 6-0, at the US Open on Thursday to advance to her second consecutive Grand Slam final. Williams will play the winner of the semifinal match between Madison Keys and Naomi Osaka.

Serena’s brilliance has been on display for this entire US Open, and Keys or Osaka will face a very stern test in trying to capture their first career Grand Slam titles.

With her serve, return game, lateral movement and net game getting stronger and stronger as the tournament has progressed, Serena seems to have Margaret Court’s record of 24 Grand Slams titles firmly in sight.
