Seahawks’ Jimmy Graham Suffers Season Ending Injury

Seattle Seahawks tight end Jimmy Graham will need surgery after tearing the patellar tendon in his right knee and will miss the rest of the season.

Graham fell down awkwardly in the fourth quarter against the Steelers while being targeted by quarterback Russell Wilson. The tight end was having a very sub par season by his standards, catching only 48 passes for 605 yards, his worst numbers since his rookie year in 2010.

Luke Wilson will start at tight end in Grahams absence. Wilson has caught a total of 54 passes for 786 yards in three NFL seasons.

You dont replace a Jimmy Graham, Carroll said. We just go do what we do with the guys that we have. Its most unfortunate and just sick about it because he has just been making the turn with us.
