Jerry Sandusky is rotting in the penitentiary while still proclaiming his innocence to anybody that will listen. At this point, his ramblings sound like white noise, but that hasn’t stopped the TODAY Show from giving him a medium to broadcast his thoughts and build up his delusions of grandeur.
In an interview filmed for the documentary ”Framing Paterno", Sandusky dismissed Chris McQueary’s allegations that he molested a 10-year-old boy in the Penn State locker room.
”I don’t understand how anybody would have walked into that locker room from where he was and heard sounds associated that was sex going on like he said that could’ve been. I mean, that would have been the last thing I would have thought about. I would have thought maybe fooling around or something like that.”
An attorney for one of Sandusky’s victims released a statement in response to the interview:
Jerry Sandusky is a convicted child predator giving interviews from prison. Our clients, including Victim 2, have heard enough from Jerry Sandusky. They are focused on healing and holding Penn State accountable for choosing to protect Jerry Sandusky and themselves instead of protecting children from years of horrific sexual abuse.
Why is Sandusky still getting media coverage though? More importantly, who’s bright idea was it to greenlight a documentary for him? The trial is done and his relevancy has expired. He's a sociopathic narcissist who should be familiarizing himself with the dark seclusion of solitary confinement, not the attention of camera crews. Sandusky is done and not even worth the prison cot afforded to him. It's past time to tune him out.
