When you’re someone who hates to lose, and by that we mean REALLY hate to lose, not winning can be a crushing blow to every part of your being. For Ronda Rousey, that all came out this week on The Ellen Show.
In the medical room, I was down in the corner, I was sitting in the corner and I was like what am I anymore if Im not this?’ she said. And I was literally sitting there and thinking about killing myself in that exact second, Im nothing. Like what do I do anymore? And no one gives an (expletive) about me anymore without this.
Fortunately those thoughts quickly faded, especially when she saw her boyfriend, who took her away to Texas to get away from it all after her first loss. Watch the emotional interview here:
