PRITTY Left Hook: Jacob “Stitch” Duran

The legendary Cutman and CREED 2 actor talks legacy, race, and culture.

Welcome to the PRITTY Left Hook podcast where we get real about combat sports! I promise you that I will take a position that will either have you fist-pumping your coworker in the next cubicle or cursing me out voraciously. I talk trash and get in that ass, baby.

In this episode, we caught up with the Boss of All Bosses when it comes to the Cutman business: Jacob “Stitch” Duran! This man turned what many considered a sidebar portion of the combat sports business into a cottage industry.

Stitch has saved rounds for boxers like Wladimir Klitschko and Andre Ward. He also has wrapped the hands of MMA fighters like Georges St. Pierre and Jon Jones; Duran has seen it all in the hurt business and helped facilitate much of it.

Now in his second appearance in the CREED movie franchise, Duran has extended his influence into movies, publishing and even manufacturing. I am blessed to have years of working history with this great man and it is an honor to bring you my big brother, known simply as STITCH.
