OSU’s Urban Meyer Placed On Paid Administrative Leave

Last week, Zach Smith, a longtime member of Ohio State’s head coach Urban Meyer was fired, due to domestic violence allegations stemming from his then wife. 

In a plot twist that no one (everyone) saw coming, Ohio State placed Urban Meyer on paid administrative leave. The details of what Meyer actually knew has been called into question.

In a press release, Ohio State said it is conducting an investigation into these allegations. Ryan Day, the teams offensive coordinator, will serve as acting head coach.

We are focused on supporting our players and on getting to the truth as expeditiously as possible, the release said.
