On This Day In 1994: Nicole Brown And Ronald Goldman Were Murdered

On June 12, 1994, a deadly event captivated the emotions and interest of the world, changed the face of American television and the course of history for all involved. Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman were murdered outside of Nicole’s home in Los Angeles in a bloody massacre while her two kids were sleeping inside the home.

A few days later, former NFL running back, O.J. Simpson, one of the most beloved, popular and commercially successful Black athletes in American history, peeled off in a white Bronco in an ensuing bizarre police chase that interrupted Game 4 of the NBA Finals between the Houston Rockets and the New York Knicks. 

O.J. spent two years in jail before he was acquitted of the killings in the Trial of the Century, the most publicized murder case in history.
