O.J. Has Had Enough Of Prison, Wants Out Early

At this point of his life, it’s safe to say that O.J. Simpson has juked the wrath of the law a number of times. Now that the NFL legend’s actions have caught up to him, he’s just about ready for his punishment to end.

After five years in the jail, O.J. pleaded with a Nevada parole board to cut his potential 33-year prison term he picked up following his conviction on kidnapping, armed robbery and a handful of other charges. O.J. truly believes in his innocence, and really tried to show his emotional side during the hearing

Per CNN:

“His nearly five years in custody "have been somewhat illuminating at times and painful a lot of times,” Simpson told two Nevada parole board members Thursday via closed-circuit TV from prison.

“I missed my two younger kids who worked hard getting through high school, I missed their college graduations,” he said, seemingly emotional as he talked. “I missed my sister's funeral. I missed all the birthdays.”

O.J. will learn his fate when the parole board decides in two weeks. Still, if things go in his favor, he will miss a couple more birthdays and serve at least four more years of his term, which would still be less than half the time he could have served.
