Now that NFL reporter Dianna Russini and New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel’s “friendship” has been overexposed on social media, after Page Six dropped photos of the two “holding hands and hugging at a luxurious hotel.”
The Patriots head coach and reporter were spotted “two weekends ago” at the Ambiente in Sedona, Arizona.

Both Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini Are Married
Social media has exploded with opinions, but the people that we should be most sorry for are their spouses.
Mike Vrabel has been married for over 26 years to his wife Jen. They met as student-athletes at Ohio State in the mid‑1990s. Jen was a volleyball star and Mike was eventually drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1997.
Russini has been married since 2020 to husband Kevin Goldschmidt. He is an executive for Shake Shack and they share two children.
Dianna Russini Let Us Know In 2021 That She Didn’t Think Much Of Her Husband
In the aftermath of this drama, social media sleuths uncovered an old video from 2021 with Russini live on air on ESPN’s “Get Up” and she seems to take a wild shot at her husband on national television. At the time everyone saw it as a low blow but went along with the comedic relief angle.
“I’m married to an average person. I don’t post a lot about him. If I was married to someone beautiful I’d over-post too,” she said at the time, using her husband as an example of why she wouldn’t be excited to post daily about her relationship.
Not sure that Mike Vrabel falls into that category for every woman, but he is a former football player and as an NFL coach who has been on top of the world, he does have appeal.
Russini Made Wild Joke About Her Husband Two Months Ago
More video of Russini saying some interesting things about her husband have surfaced.
Nah this is INSANE. Dianna Russini says she hid her partying from her husband
“I did things in Miami I haven’t even told my husband… I had THAT much fun. I knew he would judge the kind of partying I was doing. I don’t know what got into me”
Fans On Social Media Respond To Old Clips Of Dianna Russini Disrespecting Her Husband
“Shes either very unhappy in her marriage, which seems obvious, or she may be one of the dumbest people you ever met,” one fan said.
“Man picking the right woman really is the most important decision in life. Poor Gaut,” another said, showing sympathy for Russini’s husband.
“I hope the husband has a hell of a prenup and can get some $$ out of this,” a third user quipped.
“Women who earn more than their husbands initiate divorce over 80 percent of the time. Put them in a media job where they’re constantly around highly-paid Alpha men> It’s only a matter of time. Hypergamy is undefeated,” another philosophized.
“Wild,” one fan said. “Just laughing as she completely embarrassed her husband on national TV.”
“If you girl ever says this run the other way fast,” said another fan.
“She is far from beautiful herself not to mention she sounds very obnoxious and annoying,” said one critic who is happy not to be Russini’s husband responded.
Marcellus Wiley Chimes In On Vrabel-Russini
The sports world has flocked to this current drama like a moth to the flame. Sports gossip hasn’t had anything this juicy since Joy Taylor was accused of using her “butter pecan skin” to move up the ladder at Fox Sports.
Marcellus Wiley, a former Fox employee, familiar with various scandals within the business, chimed in on the drama between Vrabel and Russinni, the NY Times’ top NFL reporter, and said while the extent of their interactions behind closed doors are unknown, the pictures seem to paint a story of emotional infidelity if nothing else.
“I love me some Mike Vrabel but I just don’t believe in coincidence. Look, if she was butt ugly, one would y’all even be there. Two would you even interact like that?”
“This is at least emotional intimacy,” Wiley continues. “A cooler than the average relationship, but when you married, you are a coach and you a reporter, Y’all know y’all crossing some lines. … I do know I don’t want my wife or husband being hugged up like this.”
Stay tuned, this one should fill the social media mosh pit for a few days as more details emerge.
