Strahan said we’re gonna give you the proper meal that you deserve because that was one great game.

Clemson beat Alabama in a 44-16 victory win in the national championship. The Tigers were given the opportunity to celebrate with President Donald Trump at the White House, where they were treated to a buffet style of fast-food options that included McDonald’s and Wendy’s.

This gesture—paid for with Trump’s own money—didn’t fly well with many. Strahan, among others, is willing to give the champions a proper meal.
“We’re gonna take care of you. We’re gonna give you the proper meal that you deserve because that was one great game, a great accomplishment,” said Strahan.
