Who says family and business don’t mix? According to Yahoo Sports, Michael Jordan has promoted his older brother Larry Jordan to director of player personnel. Two of Mike’s children Jeffrey and Jasmine also have lesser positions within the Bobcats franchise.
From YAHOO SPORTS:
Along with Michael Jordan, Larry will answer to team president of basketball operations Rod Higgins and general manager Rich Cho. Larry Jordan's previous job was team director of special projects. He fills a position that was vacant for three years after Buzz Peterson departed to become the head coach at Appalachian State.
Larry Jordan will now focus on scouting and recruiting new players for one of the worst team in pro sports. Michael Jordan, arguably the greatest basketball player of all-time, has earned himself a poor reputation by making questionable moves as an executive. Is this yet another bad decision by MJ?
