Lion’s Starting Center Suspended

Lion's starting center Dominic Raiola has been suspended one game for unsportsmanlike conduct stemming from an incident during Sunday's game against the Bears. Raiola supposedly stomped on Bear's defensive tackle Ego Ferguson’s ankle towards the end of a play in the third quarter. Ferguson was injured, but returned later in the game. Raiola claims the act was completely unintentional, however if he were that clumsy I doubt he would be a starting center in the NFL. After the play, Bears players can be be seen talking the referees about the incident. Raiola supposedly shook hands and apologized with Ferguson after the game and intends to appeal his suspension.
