Knicks’ RJ Barrett Signs Sneaker Deal With Puma

The big get for the Knicks this season was drafting Duke freshman, RJ Barrett. And from the looks of things, Barrett is star in the making.

Today Barrett added some more glow to his star when it was revealed that he was signing an endorsement deal with Puma, a brand that is starting to make some noise again in basketball this year.

Barrett’s big reveal came today on west 31st in New York City, right across from his new home, MSG.

According to Scoop B, Barrett joins fellow Knicks’ teammates Kevin Knox, Bobby Portis, Allonzo Triier and the legend himself, Walt “Clyde” Frazier, on the Puma roster.

The brand has been slowly carving out some space in the basketball arena for themselves, already working with Deandre Ayton, Danny Green and Skylar Diggins-Smith. They also signed former Duke Blue Devil, Marvin Bagley III, to a huge five-year deal estimated to be in the $2 to $3 million range, annually.

“We’ve had our eyes on him for a long time, going back to before last year,” said Adam Petrick, Puma’s global director of brand and marketing.

Now they got him, and have another piece of the basketball pie at MSG.
