Jon Stewart spent his summer directing Rosewater, a film about a journalist in Iran, which filmed in 12 weeks and appears to be speeding through production, but triumphantly returned home to The Daily Show last night.
His replacement, John Oliver, filled in well, but Stewart's reign is far from over has the host, even if we might have seen a glimpse of what is one day to come.
