According to People, Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens have been together for over a year. She told the outlet that their first anniversary came while Biles was in Tokyo for the 2021 Summer Olympics. “He’s picking up his season so we haven’t but obviously, we know we share that love and appreciation for each other,” Biles said, according to People. “Although we didn’t get to do anything big or grand, we still have that respect that we passed a year.”

Owens is a safety for the Texans. The game against the Chargers is now the biggest game of his NFL career. Owens’ recovered fumble and first career interception helped the Texans, who are 4-11, defeat the Chargers (8-7) in a shocking 41-29 upset Sunday.

Who Is Jonathan Owens?
Owens went undrafted in 2018, and his initial team was the Arizona Cardinals. However, he was cut by the team in 2019 before eventually joining the Texans. Since hired in Houston, Owens has been active for seven games with the Texans in 2019 and 2020; however, he did not register any stats.
Owens first made it onto the field for the Texans during Week 12. Since then, he has played in every Texans game, getting his first start in Week 15. However, coming into Sunday’s game, Owens had 14 tackles this season. However, he can now add one interception and a fumble recovery to his stat sheet.
