It looks like the Jets might have their hands tied trying to stop AJ Green on Sunday when they face the Cincinnati Bengals. According to the Newark Star-Ledger, Jets defensive coordinator Dennis Thurman joked and said that they to put his hands on him and say a prayer.
From The Newark Star Ledger :
What does he need to do?” Thurman said, answering this very question. “Put his hands on him and pray, pretty much.”
Thurman also noted in the story that Antonio Cromartie will have to play very well and try to make things harder for Green who is about the same size as him. Green is 6-4 210 and Cromartie is about two inches shorter at 6-2.
With Sunday approaching it’s clear that the Jets have their Mind set on stopping AJ Green in order to win the game. It may be a tough task for Gang Green but if Cromartie struggles to stop him they are gonna need to do a whole lot more than prayer.
