Good Morning: Tampa Bay Got Revenge On The Texas Rangers; Advance To Wild Card Round

The Tampa Bay Rays were knocked out of the playoffs by the Texas Rangers in each of the past two seasons, but exacted their revenge on Monday night, as David Price threw a complete game with four strikeouts and picked off two baserunners. Evan Longoria had three hits, including a two-run homer, to help give the Rays a 5-3 victory. Despite the collapse, Ron Washington will be back to coach the Rangers next season.

 

The New Orleans Saints beat the daylights out of the Miami Dolphins, moving to 4-0 on the season. The team hailed the return of their "genius" head coach from his year-long suspension for the turnaround. 

 

Josh Freeman is in stage one of the NFLPA's drug program, information that is not supposed to be public. Freeman says he used to have ADHD and that this is basically a misunderstanding. The NFLPA says they're "coming after everyone" for leaking the information.
