Good Morning: No One Has Ryan Braun’s Back

Ryan Braun accepted a 65-game suspension for his involvement in a PED lab in Miami. He did not get the support of many of his colleagues, while Alex Rodriguez was only thrown near the bus.

"Watching him talk right now makes me sick," Skip Schumaker of the Los Angeles Dodgers said. "I have an autographed Braun jersey in my baseball room that I'll be taking down. I don't want my son identifying what I've worked so hard to get to and work so hard to have — I don't want him comparing Braun to me."

“I think I’m tired of the steroids,” Joe Girardi said. “I’m just tired of it. Just do things the right way, bottom line.”

“I don’t know what happened with Alex,” closer Mariano Rivera said earlier Monday. “He is my teammate, and I have to support him 100 percent. So I don’t know, if something different happens, we need to see. The good thing about this is we are cleaning the game, and that’s the way it should be.”
