Supermodel Gisele Bündchen is so serious about divorcing Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady that she is cleansing her aura and property of any and all bad energy. According to Page Six she hired someone to sage her vehicle and met with this holistic service provider.
Bündchen was seen with a smudge stick which the holistic service provider used to burn sage around the former Victoria’s Secret angel’s car. When finished both she and Bündchen retreated to an office.
Apparently this time the divorce looks like it’s going through. Bündchen has threatened Brady with divorce before, but the couple always found a way to reconcile.
The issue that caused the couple’s fights has always been football. Bündchen has wanted Brady to get out of the game for years. She has been concerned about the quarterback developing CTE and other long-term debilitating injuries.
She was also at odds with Brady’s NFL schedule which kept him away from home for six months every year.
When Brady retired earlier this year, Bündchen thought her husband would be back home and the family could live differently. But Brady changed his mind after a little over a month, and that was the final straw for his Bündchen.
“I never actually thought this argument would be the end of them, but it looks like it is,” one source in the know told Page Six this week of their fight over his return to the NFL.
“I don’t think there will be any coming back now. They both have lawyers and are looking at what a split will entail, who gets what and what the finances will be.”
According to sources, Bündchen is driving the divorce and Brady is preparing to deal with the emotions of the end of his marriage.
“It’s pretty obvious that he’s hurting,” says a source close to Brady. “He feels very hurt by her.”
Nobody really knows what’s happening behind the scenes in their marriage. But the divorce will play out publicly, and hopefully it won’t get ugly and their kids will be spared as much negativity as possible.
“She is the one steering the divorce. She is playing offense and he is playing defense. He wants to protect himself, protect his interests, but he’s only starting to go the legal route in his defense from her,” said a source. “He doesn’t want this to be ugly, he doesn’t want to fight. If the divorce is happening — and it seems like it is — he wants it to go as smoothly as possible.”
On top of the emotions that come with the end of a marriage, Brady is also still leading the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Playing NFL quarterback is hard enough, and if your focus isn’t there things could get very dangerous. In addition, he needs to be the best possible father he can be to his children, who undoubtedly know what’s going on and are likely confused, angry, and hurt.
The Buccaneers are home this Sunday to take on the Atlanta Falcons.
