Family Feud, Extortion, And A Witch Doctor | Paul Pogba Accused Of Paying To Have A Spell Cast On Teammate Kylian Mbappe

French national team soccer star and World Cup winner Paul Pogba appears to be embroiled in an extortion scheme led by his brother, Mathias Pogba.

As a part of the scheme it was alleged that Paul Pogba paid a witch doctor to cast a spell on his teammate, superstar Kylian Mbappe. French prosecutors are investigating the situation.

According to reports, Paul Pogba paid approximately €100,000 to a group led by his brother Mathias, and childhood friends. The group demanded €13 million from the France midfielder, and allegedly intimidated him, claiming he didn’t support them after he became an international star.

Paul Pogba told investigators that the group would try and discredit him by claiming he asked a witch doctor to cast a spell on Mbappe. Pogba has denied paying a witch doctor to cast a spell on his teammate.

Mathias Pogba on Sunday appeared to address the witch doctor claim in a Twitter post, directed at Mbappe.

“Kylian, do you understand now? I have nothing against you, what I am saying is for your own good, everything is true and known, the witch doctor is known!”

Extortion and witch doctors. What is going on with the Pogba family?

If these allegations are true, this is a wild story. But it’s also common among big-time athletes. Maybe not the witch doctor part, but certainly the extortion.

When an individual makes it big in sports and entertainment there is often a feeling by those close to the individual, particularly those who were there in the beginning before the fame and money, that they too are a part of the journey. In many ways they are. Whether it be providing support or whatever.

Sometimes those individuals feel they are entitled to some of the spoils of the star’s success. This is where the trouble lies. Unless it was agreed upon, the star doesn’t owe anyone anything. But if those individuals know certain things about the star, they are in an advantageous position to get what they want.

Mathias Pogba alleges that Paul has paid millions to witch doctors over the years to avoid injury.

“These practices require you to do bad things for their rituals with a desire to do harm,” Mathias said.

Mathias Pogba also says that his brother’s claims of extortion are lies.

“In his relentless effort to discredit anyone who knows his dirty little secrets, Paul claims that the money he gave to his childhood friends was part of an extortion,” Mathias Pogba said. “But what if this money is justified by official and registered documents, and there is evidence of a consenting gesture?”

This situation is still developing and Mathias promises more revelations to come. If he has receipts, Paul Pogba could be in some trouble.

The French soccer star is currently sidelined with a knee injury, but the World Cup begins November 20th in Qatar and France is +600 to win behind Brazil at +450. This situation could be a huge distraction and could cost Paul Pogba a spot on the team.
