The Shadow League is teaming up with Edyoucore during Financial Literacy Month, which begins this week. We will start to publish a series of weekly content covering different topics related to managing money, specifically during a time of crisis.
The content series is part of Edyoucore’s new “Get Lit” initiative that was launched to grow its financial education movement. The company provides financial literacy programs to athletes and entertainers and works with professional leagues, teams, college athletic programs, and individuals. Edyoucore’s mission is to educate, equip and empower people to make better financial, business, and lifestyle decisions.
TSL and Edyoucore will be kicking things off Thursday, April 9 at 4 p.m. ET with an Instagram Live Chat featuring former NFL linebacker Bart Scott and Edyoucore Sports & Entertainment ‘s Founder and President, Drew Hawkins.
Scott has invested his money wisely and recently returned to TV and radio with ESPN. Hawkins is a 30-year veteran of the financial services industry.
They will talk more about Financial Literacy Month, the “Get Lit” campaign, and focus on the importance of having an emergency fund.
While Edyoucore is specialized in providing financial education for individuals in the sports and entertainment industries, the content published during Financial Literacy Month will focus on topics that are applicable to anyone – especially now, as we battle the effects of the coronavirus on businesses across the country.
