Whether you like it or not, celebrities have the power to stir things up and bring attention to certain issues. But they can also uplift the day of fans as well. For terminally-ill cancer patient Kennedy Brown, there are few moments that could brighten an ominous diagnosis like meeting her favorite star Drake.
The 15-year-old Carnegie Vanguard High School student has been diagnosed with inoperable brain cancer and was visited by Drizzy himself after her friends got the Toronto-based rapper’s attention via Twitter with the hashtag #DrakeForKen. Drake initially told Brown’s supporters that he would send a video. But this was soon replaced by an even bigger surprise as he actually showed up and spent time with the young lady. Props to Drake for offering comfort to one of his biggest fans during her final days of need.
