Dos Anjos vs. McGregor, Holm vs. Tate headline UFC 197

The UFC has announced a major card for UFC 197 on March 5th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

In the main event, UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor will look to make history when he moves up to challenge UFC lightweight champion Rafael Dos Anjos for the 155-pound title. McGregor seeks to become the first fighter in history to hold UFC world titles in two different weight classes simultaneously when he challenges the Brazilian champion Dos Anjos.

But that’s not all.

Holly Holm, after shocking the world by knocking out the previously undefeated Ronda Rousey, will put her world title on the line in a women’s bantamweight fight against second-ranked Miesha Tate in the co-main event. Holm, the former boxing champion, looks to keep her perfect record intact when she meets Tate, who is riding a dominant four-fight win streak.

UFC 197: DOS ANJOS vs. McGREGOR will air live on pay-per-view at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT on Saturday, March 5.
