The Packers defeated the Rams 36-28 on Sunday. The game featured star wide receivers and friends Davante Adams and Odell Beckham Jr. If not for a more lucrative offer from the Rams, OBJ and Adams would’ve been teammates on the Packers when the former was released by the Browns. After the game, OBJ looked for Adams to swap jerseys and Adams had a message for his friend.

Adams teased Beckham over his choice of the Rams, and told Beckham to swap jerseys with his new teammate Cooper Kupp.
The Packers offered Beckham the veteran minimum ($1.075 million), plus incentives to finish out the season. The Rams gave Beckham a contract worth $4.25 million over the rest of the season with a base value of $1.25 million.
That was an easy choice for Beckham, but his buddy couldn’t resist poking some fun.
After the game Adams made it clear the troll was all in good fun, and he and Beckham spoke two days prior about a jersey swap. Adams did send the jersey to Beckham in the locker room, and added that he hopped Beckham didn’t punch a hole in the wall after this loss.
Davante Adams said he sent a jersey to #Rams WR Odell Beckham Jr. in the locker room and joked that he asked "him not to punch a hole (in the wall) this time."

Adams is, of course, referring to Beckham’s playoff game in Green Bay as a member of the Giants in which he played poorly and punched a hole in the wall after the loss.
Since joining the Rams, Beckham has 7 catches for 99 yards and a touchdown. The team is 0-2 in those games and struggling a bit. Overall, at 7-4, they’re firmly in the playoffs but not trending in the right direction.
Meanwhile, the Packers are 9-3 and only a half game behind the Cardinals for the top spot in the NFC. Should Beckham have chosen the Packers?
We have six weeks left in the regular season so things can turn around for the Rams. But right now, Aaron Rodgers is playing at an MVP level at quarterback while Matthew Stafford isn’t.
The Rams have signed big names to bolster the roster for a Super Bowl run.
The allure of offensive “guru” Sean McVay and what the offense could do was a huge draw for Beckham, and they still have time to put it all together. But the NFL is a week- to-week league and 0-2 is not the start he hoped for.
The money was better and if you had a choice between LA and Green Bay to live, that’s a no brainer. McVay gets the edge over Matt LaFleur. But there is no comparison at quarterback.
Rodgers is so much better than Stafford. As a receiver, who your QB is should be of paramount importance. Yes, Beckham extended the career of Eli Manning in New York. But this is Aaron Rodgers.
Outside of Tom Brady, is Rodgers not the best qv in football? Despite far less Super Bowls he’s certainly the more talented of the two.
It doesn’t matter now. Beckham made his bet on the Rams and he’ll have to ride it out the rest of the season. With six weeks remaining, and the top teams in the conference gaining more separation, the Rams and Beckham will need to turn it on.
