The bombing at the Boston Marathon was an extremely shocking and tragic event that shook America and the world. There hasn't been any indication who committed this atrocity, and the ethnicity, origin, and whereabout remain unknown. Those facts haven't driven the conversation though. Speculation has run rampant, with specific words or phrases being blown out of proportion as people try to make sense of what happened.
It's going to be a while before that is possible. Until then, we are left with confusion and anger.
